COVID-19 UPDATE

Members, we continue to hope you and your families are doing well. 2020 sure has been one for the books, and we miss having all of you around. Unfortunately, this is not a post telling you that we're ready to reopen the Speedway Club. We certainly wish it was, but the building -- and therefore, the Club -- remains closed during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We wanted to take a moment to update you on what changed and what hasn't as we approach the playoffs tripleheader at your Home Track.

A few things are different than the July O'Reilly Auto Parts 500:

  • You are getting two races for the price of one. The SpeedyCash.com 400 Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series race starts at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 25 and is followed by the Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 500 NASCAR Cup Series race at 2:30 p.m. Both races will be accessed with a single ticket, and if you already bought a Gander Trucks ticket it is being credited to your account for you to use in the future.
  • Our Fan Zone is still very limited, but team merchandise trailers will be available between Gates 3 and 5.
  • For those who haven't tried Burnout Alley, it's available at a prorated price and will be the only way (other than the condos) to see Saturday's O'Reilly Auto Parts 300 Xfinity Series race, which is closed to fans
  • Between races on Sunday, TMS will host the No Limits Live! Pre-Race Show, a new-style event with features on drivers like Kevin Harvick, Jimmie Johnson, and even Tony Stewart.

Many things remain the same since July's race weekend.

  • The Club and the Turn 1 Terrace remain closed
  • All tickets are digital (through the TMS app), and you will need to fill out the Intent to Attend form on our website to get new, socially distanced seats
  • Coolers are not allowed but food and beverages are (certainly a chance for some creativity) in a 14x14x14 clear bag
  • The infield remains closed by the order of NASCAR
  • Camping is available Saturday and Sunday in Lone Star Circle and VIP and Friday-Sunday in Burnout Alley
  • Face coverings over the nose and mouth must be worn whenever it is not feasible to maintain 6 feet of social distancing from another person not in the same household
